Sciences conducted a seminar cum open discussion in Intellectual Property Rights
(IPR) at Sobhasaria Engineering College, Sikar, Rajasthan. The seminar was
organized with an aim to make the technocrats aware of the utility of IPR in
industry and economy.
Mr. K.B.Singh, Mr. Ashish Agarwal and Mr. Amit Gupta conducted a lecture on introduction to IPR, types of intellectual properties, procedure for obtaining rights to these properties and their role in safeguarding the novel inventions from infringement.
Students were also guided how to make career in IPR and were also told the importance of IPR in the enhancement of research and development in technology. Students from various disciplines (Computer science, Biotechnology, Electronics, Management) attended the seminar.
During the open discussion, the brainstorming interaction of the students, teachers with the representatives took place.
